Dr. Lacey Rutledge

Dr. Lacey Rutledge grew up here in the Twin Cities. She moved out west to attend undergraduate school at Willamette University in Oregon. From there she spent a few years in Colorado, where she met her husband while they were working together on a ranch. She returned to Minnesota to attend veterinary school at the University of Minnesota, and graduated in 2020. Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion (Beginning with her early childhood readings of the works of James Herriot!), and Dr. Rutledge loves learning something new from every patient she meets. She loves getting to know her patients over time, learning what is unique about them and seeing how they grow and change. To her, It always feels like such a privilege to be entrusted with keeping pets happy and healthy, and helping them feel better when sick or injured. Away from work, you’ll find Dr. Rutledge hanging out with her husband and their three dogs, Cooper (Boxer mix) Weenie (Pug), and Gus (Saint Bernard mix). She is happiest outside and loves hiking, horseback riding, camping, and relaxing with a good book!
