We minimize patient discomfort by practicing multimodal pain management. This includes pain prevention before, during and after a surgical procedure. Reducing pain helps speed recovery.
Visiting specialists: Board-certified surgeons
The doctors at Rivertown Animal Hospital perform a wide variety of surgical procedures. For orthopedic and advanced soft tissue surgeries, board-certified surgeons are readily available at our hospital. These surgeons also come to our facility for client consultations.
Surgeries that may require a specialist include, but are not limited to:
- ACL (anterior cruciate ligaments) repair including: TTA (tibial tuberosity advancement), TPLO (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy) and extra-capsular repair
